Beabadoobee drops new single "Beaches" ahead of forthcoming third album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves
Beabadoobee has dropped the brand new single "Beaches" ahead of her forthcoming third studio album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves.
"Beaches" was written when Bea was recording the album at Rick Rubin’s Malibu studios, Shangri-La. During that time Bea revelled in her new surroundings: eating healthily, soaking up the sun, going for dips in the ocean and constantly writing and recording.
“I was just going to put my feet in,” Bea reminisces about her first time jumping into the water in Malibu, “But then everyone was like, ‘Why wouldn’t you just put your whole body in? Jump in!’. And that became such an encapsulation of this whole recording opportunity – don’t do it half-arsed, just go fucking full-force!””
Featuring the singles "Take A Bite", "Ever Seen", and "Coming Home", This Is How Tomorrow Moves sees Beabadoobee swap her bedroom for Rick Rubin’s infamous Shangri-La studio in Malibu. The album is set to follow 2022's Beatopia, and her 2020 debut, Fake It Flowers.
This Is How Tomorrow Moves is out on 16 August via Dirty Hit, and is available to pre-order now.
