Bea Miller announces new album Mr. Peaked in High School with single “drunk enough”

Manhattan-born actor and singer Bea Miller has confirmed details of her new album Mr. Peaked in High School, which arrives next month. The announcement is paired with the release of “drunk enough”, her latest self-deprecating single.

Written with longtime collaborator Justin Tranter and producers Oak Felder and Dan Crean, “drunk enough” is about the uncertainty that builds when two people refuse to name the feelings between them. It follows earlier singles “depressed on the internet” and “born to lose”.

Across 13 tracks, Mr. Peaked in High School employs a band-driven sound that skirts around alt-pop and R&B textures. The focus is on live performance energy and melodic clarity, foregrounding Miller’s voice.

“I think this album is going to be the best thing I've ever done,” Miller says. “I feel like I've gotten my second wind at this point, and I'm ready to hopefully prove myself wrong for thinking I had reached my maximum level of success and would never be able to recreate that.”
