Bathing Suits win The Steve Strange Award 2026
The Great Escape has announced Leeds electro-punk band Bathing Suits as the winner of this year's Steve Strange Award.
Having just released their debut EP KILL Bathing Suits last month, Bathing Suits have been making a clear impression on the live circuit.
The vote was decided on by The Great Escape delegates, who recognised Bathing Suits as "one of the most exciting breakthrough acts" to perform at the twentieth anniversary of the showcase. The band will receive £5,000 to support them in their future endeavours.
