Bathing Suits unveil industrial club track, "Do Ya?"

Leeds-born electro-punk band Bathing Suits have released their new single, “Do Ya?”.

“Do Ya?” follows the band’s previous single “I Can Be A Freak”, released last month, which features vocals from Mandy, Indiana vocalist Valentine Caulfield. Bathing Suits are also gearing up to support Yard Act on tour next month, following a recent UK tour alongside Man/Woman/Chainsaw.

“I wrote ‘Do Ya?’ this year after doing a shoot for Hedi Slimane because it opened up this whole other door to this fashion world which I had never really entered before,” singer Freyja Blevins explains. “I had nothing from that world but wanted everything from it. As a theme though this bridges into many other aspects of my own and others life whether it be wanting someone in a romantic or sexual sense or wanting money its all want want want whatever you want you always want more than what you have.”

“We’ve kept true to our nature of noise and dance moving forward in our music, but we are trying to figure out how we can control and use our noise/chaos,” she continues. “Chaos is all fun but I want to find something I can control and use underneath it so it can't swallow me or swallow the dance floor. Maybe that’s quite didactic of me?”

“Do Ya?” is out now on Underplay Recordings
