Avice Caro unveils her new single, "At the End of the Day (it’s the end of the day)"
London newcomer Avice Caro has signed to revered indie label Nice Swan Records (English Teacher, Pip Blom, Sprints) and has unveiled the brand new single, "At the End of the Day (it’s the end of the day)".
Speaking ahead of her single release, the songwriter explained: “The song is about knowing what's best for you, but feeling compelled to make the choice that makes others more happy because it's easier than fighting for yourself. Of course, every time you make a decision that changes the course of your life you can't go back. As time goes by life has this cruel way of showing you glimpses of the beautiful life you could've had, had you followed your heart instead. Sometimes you hope and pray you could just go back, but you can't. It's loosely inspired by Jacques Demy's film, Les parapluies de Cherbourg, which explores this idea through a pair of star-crossed lovers.”
"At the End of the Day (it’s the end of the day)" is out now via Nice Swan Recordings.
