Avalon Emerson unveil two tracks, "Sort of Like a Dream" and "You’re My World"
Avalon Emerson have shared two new tracks, "Sort of Like a Dream feat. Anunaku" and "You’re My World feat. Priori" as the latest releases from new project, Perpetual Emotion Machine.
"Sort of Like a Dream" was made the track with longtime friend and former AD93 label mate Anunaku (AKA TSVI). The pair released a collaborative EP in 2022 titled 060 under the name A+A. “You’re My World”, meanwhile, was made with Quebec-based techno producer Priori.
The tracks follow recently released "On It Goes", "Treat Mode" and a cover of Oppenheimer Analysis’ cult classic, "Don’t Be Seen With Me", all of which feature on the forthcoming album, Perpetual Emotion Machine.
Speaking of the release, Avalon Emerson says: “These songs were created for my DJ sets. Whether they’re entirely original, edits to recontextualize old favorites, instrumental, or feature me singing, they are all part of my perpetual emotion machine. And the machine steams on.”
"Sort of Like a Dream" and "You’re My World" are out now via Dead Oceans.
