AURORA previews new song in Assassin’s Creed 15th anniversary Leap into History trailer
AURORA has created a new song that soundtracks the Assassin's Creed 15th anniversary Leap Into History trailer.
Yesterday (6 September) a live-action trailer was revealed to kick off the 15th anniversary celebrations for the Assassin's Creed game franchise, and it's soundtracked by a new AURORA song titled "Hunting Shadows – Assassin’s Creed", which AURORA will release in full on Friday (9 September) ahead of the Ubisoft Forward Showcase on Saturday that will feature "some brand new announcements for the series".
AURORA said of being involved with the 15th anniversary celebrations, "Assassin’s Creed is one of my favourite games and holds a special place in my heart. Its soundtrack stayed with me since I first heard it playing in Assassin’s Creed II especially the "Ezio’s Family" theme and its signature singing melody. I feel excited and honoured to be opening the 15th anniversary celebrations with this song and cannot wait to see what’s next for the series!"
"Hunting Shadows - Assassin's Creed" will be AURORA's first outing since giving "A Potion For Love" an official release in July.
Last month AURORA joined Hans Zimmer to perform his Camila Cabello collaboration "Take Me Back Home" at the BBC's Earth Prom.
AURORA will release "Hunting Shadows - Assassin's Creed" on Friday (9 September).
