As It Is announce new EP So A-Live! with live version of single “Do You Remember”
Brighton pop-punk band As It Is have announced a live EP, So A-Live!, recorded at Marshall Studios with Espera. Set for release on 4 September via FLG, it follows the band’s self-titled fifth album, which recently topped the UK Independent Albums Chart. A live version of “Do You Remember” is out now.
The news follows the reunion of the band's classic lineup in 2024. The four-piece – Patty Walters, Ben Biss, Ali Testo, and Patrick Foley – recorded the set with Espera vocalists Lynsey Ward, Mathilda Riley, and Paige Phillips, plus pianist Kianna Blue and saxophonist Pete Fraser. Espera contributed additional vocal arrangements.
Walters said: “We’re incredibly excited and proud to release the ‘So A-Live!’ EP, our first ever collection of live recordings.”
Ward added: “There really is nothing quite like being in a room together and making it all happen live.”
As It Is begin a UK tour on 3 September.
