Arctic Monkeys preview new album with third single "I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am"
Arctic Monkeys have released their new single "I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am" ahead of their seventh album The Car landing in full later this week.
"I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am" was first debuted at Zürich Openair festival in August, and today (18 October) the song has been given an official release with a live video directed by Ben Chappell and Zackery Michael that was recorded during the band's King’s Theatre show in Brooklyn.
The new single will appear on The Car with previous cuts "Body Paint" and "There'd Better Be A Mirrorball".
The Car will follow Arctic Monkeys' 2018 album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, and was recorded between Suffolk venue Butley Priory, London's RAK Studios and La Frette in Paris.
"I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am" is out now. Arctic Monkeys' new album The Car will follow on Friday (21 October) via Domino, and is available to pre-order now.
