Aphex Twin's SoundCloud has been updated with two archive tracks
The anonymous SoundCloud account named user18081971 is widely thought to belong to Aphex Twin.
The user18081971 SoundCloud account was updated today with two songs – “Short Forgotten Produk Trk Omc” and “2nd Neotek Test Trac Omc”. According to their descriptions, both snippets were recorded approximately between 2006 and 2007, and the latter one features a Kawai K5M digital synthesiser.
Both clips appeared to be recorded during the hiatus period between the two most recent Aphex Twin full-lengths: 2001’s Drukqs and 2014’s Syro.
Last month, Aphex Twin announced an EP Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / In a Room7 F760, which is released today.
