Anya Taylor-Joy and Meryl Streep rumoured to play Joni Mitchell in new biopic
The InSneider has reported that Cameron Crowe's forthcoming biopic on Joni Mitchell with feature Anya Taylor-Joy and Meryl Streep taking on the lead role.
They reveal that Anya Taylor-Joy will star as the "singer in her heyday, while three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep will play modern-day Joni". Cameron Crowe's (Almost Famous, Say Anything) last directorial role was the 2015 rom-com, Aloha, which starred Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, and John Krasinski.
