André 3000 joins the 25th anniversary celebrations for Norway’s Øya Festival
Øya Festival has announced André 3000 as a new addition to the line up, where he will play with a full live band on Thursday 8 August.
In November, Andre 3000 unveiled his debut solo album, New Blue Sun, which is completely instrumental, and features André heavily on his instrument of choice – the flute. Last month, he announced a run of intimate live shows to celebrate the album's release, and now he's moving on to bigger stages.
André 3000 will join the likes of previously announced artists, Pulp, PJ Harvey, Queens of The Stone Age, Gabrielle, Arca, Sampha, RAYE, Loyle Carner, The Smile, Yussef Dayes, Nabihah Iqbal, yunè pinku, Overmono and many more.
