André 3000 has announced a run of intimate live shows in support of his debut solo instrumental album, New Blue Sun.

In collaboration with Move Forward Music, André's debut solo show in Brooklyn spans three dates – at Crown Hill Theatre in Crown Heights, on 29 January, followed by a two-night residency at the St. Ann Holy Church, on 5-6 February – to kick off the tour.

Followed by a three-night residency at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in Manhattan, where André 3000 will perform two shows per night, he will then make stops in Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco before finishing with a five-night stint at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles.

Co-produced by André and lauded multi-instrumentalist Carlos Niño, and featuring the playing of Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, Deantoni Parks, Diego Gaeta, Matthewdavid, V.C.R, Diego Gaeta, Jesse Peterson, and Mia Doi Todd, New Blue Sun is an entirely instrumental album; a celebratory piece of work in the form of a living, breathing, improvised, aural organism.

Tickets are on sale at 10am local time, from amyriadofpyramids.com.
