American Football, Bikini Kill, Angine de Poitrine lead LEVITATION 2026 lineup

The full programme, spread across venues in the city’s Red River District and East Side, also locks in sets from Arlo Parks, Smerz, Cabaret Voltaire, Uncle Acid & the deadbeats, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Elder, Monolord, Friko, Automatic, Sweeping Promises, DITZ, Nitzer Ebb, Tanukichan, Gibby Haynes, Melt-Banana and Pearl & the Oysters. A secret Sunday headliner remains under wraps, with further additions to the line-up still to come.

For UK audiences, the presence of Peter Hook & The Light and Cabaret Voltaire on the Saturday bill at Radio/East offers a strong pull. Hook’s set will sit alongside Belarusian darkwave trio Molchat Doma, LA dance-punks Automatic, and Brighton noise-rock outfit DITZ. Elsewhere, New Zealand’s Earth Tongue close the weekend on the Sunday lineup, sharing the Radio/East stage with Uncle Acid, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Swedish doom merchants Monolord.

The festival has expanded its central hub at Radio/East into a two-stage site this year, while late-night and club shows continue across the district’s familiar circuit. Single-show tickets for over 20 announced concerts are on sale now, alongside 4-day passes that cover the full weekend.

LEVITATION was founded in 2008 as Austin Psych Fest by members of The Black Angels and a network of friends, building a gathering that would help spark a global psych-rock resurgence. It took its current name in 2015, a nod to local psychedelic pioneers The 13th Floor Elevators, who reunited for that year’s edition. Since then the booking has widened to absorb metal, darkwave, indie rock, punk and electronic music, while the in-house label The Reverberation Appreciation Society has issued live records from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Kikagaku Moyo, Osees and others through its Live at Levitation series.
