Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae has returned with the release of her new project, roses are red, tears are blue — A Fountain Baby Extended Play.
The project follows Amaarae’s recently released album, Fountain Baby. Executive produced by Amaarae and alongside her close collaborators Kyu Steed, Noah Glassman and KZ Didit, the project reveals a new chapter of her own life fueled by an innermost desire for self liberation, sonically honoring the sounds that line her home of Accra, Ghana.
