Alt-rock group Cusk announce self-titled debut EP
Fronted by duo duo Esmé Creed-Miles and Evie Hilyer-Ziegler, Cusk released their first single, "Blu tac piano", back in April. "Dooms banjo" arrives as the latest preview of the collection of songs, which will be the second EP release on The Bird Records, a new label launched by Charlie Wayne (Black Country, New Road) and Mita De (ex-Ninja Tune, ex-Brownswood).
Cusk first came together when Creed-Miles and Hilyer-Ziegler met at an improvisation night at the Shacklewell Arms. They've since gone on to play headline shows within London's live circuit, and support acts including DIIV, Geordie Greep and Tiberius B. To celebrate the release of Cusk, the band are also set to perform at the Shacklewell Arms on 27 August.
