Alex Burey shares new single, "Chocolate"
Multi-instrumentalist and producer Alex Burey has released his new song, "Chocolate".
"Chocolate" lands after previous single "Unspoken", which dropped back in July. It's the second track released on Domino imprint Double Six following Burey's signing to the label earlier this year, and is accompanied by a visualiser made by Burey's brother, Mikey Burey.
Speaking about the track, Burey explains: “'Chocolate' is about intimacy. It was created in my studio & I managed to finish it in a few short sessions. The whole song was sent through a pitcher and lowered to make it all sound extra chocolatey. My favourite part of it is the climbing pitched saxophone which harmonises with another sax line which runs parallel. This part was inspired by ‘Dreams’ by Earth, Wind & Fire.”
"Chocolate" is out now on Domino
