Aldous Harding details fifth album, Train On The Island
Aldous Harding has announced her upcoming album, Train On The Island, and shared lead single "One Stop".
Train On The Island follows Warm Chris, released in 2022, with "One Stop" arriving as Harding's first solo music in four years. The track offers a first taste of the ten-song collection and lands with a music video directed by Michelle Henning.
For Train On The Island, Harding continues her long-time collaboration with co-producer John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales, where they recorded Warm Chris, as well as Harding's previous works, Party (2017) and Designer (2019). The album also features contributions from pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llywelyn, synth artist Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) on bass, vocals, acoustic/electric guitar and organ.
