aespa planning to return with new music in May
SM Entertainment has confirmed reports that aespa are planning to return with new music in May.
aespa haven't released new music since teaming up with Red Velvet on "Beautiful Christmas" in December, and after a few reports claimed that aespa will be returning in May with a new album, SM Entertainment responded, writing, "aespa is preparing to make a comeback aimed for May. Please look forward to it."

Their latest mini-album Girls arrived in July 2022.
