aespa contributing new song to soundtrack for Taron Egerton's upcoming film Tetris
According to reports, aespa have contributed a new song to Tetris, an upcoming film starring Taron Egerton.
Last week Film Music Reporter revealed that Tetris, an upcoming film directed by Jon S. Baird that will tell the story of how "one of the world's most popular video games found its way to players around the globe", will feature a new aespa song titled "Hold On Tight", as well as other songs by Aaron Hibell, ReN, Pet Shop Boys, Europe, Polina and others.
"Hold On Tight" will be aespa's first outing since uniting with Red Velvet on "Beautiful Christmas" in December.
Last month SM Entertainment revealed some artist releases and tours for 2023 as part of its SM 3.0 announcement video, which included a new mini-album from aespa, as well as Red Velvet, SHINee, EXO, WayV, NCT 127, NCT DREAM and many more.
Their latest mini-album Girls arrived in July 2022.
The Tetris film soundtrack is expected to arrive digitally on 31 March, the same day as the film release.
