Adult DVD announce self-titled debut album

Formed by vocalist Harry Hanson, guitarist Danny Blackburn, drummer Jonathan Newell, bassist George Manson, and synth-players Greg Lonsdale and Jake Williams, Adult DVD have developed a space for themselves with a sound that falls somewhere between electronic and hardcore.

"Cowboy On Aisle Three" arrives as the latest preview of their first full-length collection of songs, following previous single "Real Tree Lee". Speaking about the origins of the track, Hanson says: “I came up with the idea when I was in Lidl. I’m sure everyone has thought, ‘Imagine if I just went nuts now,’ to get out of doing the big shop.”

Following a busy touring schedule last year, which saw them play a series of sold-out shows, as well as slots at Glastonbury and End Of The Road, Adult DVD go all in on the observational songwriting and high-energy synth sound that they've developed since forming. The album introduces characters ranging from conspiracy theorists to an existential cowboy, with a sound described as fit for both a rave and a mosh pit.

Over the summer months, the band are scheduled to perform at UK/EU festivals, including a return to End Of The Road in September. Following the album's release, they are also set to embark on a UK/EU headline tour, which will include support from Turnspit, Lttle Mort, Kiosk, Group A.D., and Silverwingkiller.
