ADÉLA taps Dylan Brady, The Dare and Blake Slatkin for new single "KGB"
ADÉLA has released her first music of the year, sharing the single "KGB", co-produced with Blake Slatkin (SZA, Charli xcx), Dylan Brady (AKA 100 gecs) and The Dare.
The song marks the first preview of her forthcoming debut album, following last August’s The Provocateur EP and leans further into the tongue-in-cheek bravado that earned her early comparisons to the hyper-pop and dance-punk scenes her producers helped define.
Lyrically, the track traces her journey from Slovakia to the international pop radar while a Rachel Dunkel-directed video shot inside the LA Theater draws on her ballet training, casting her in a battle with an antagonist across the historic venue’s decaying grandeur.
Since dropping The Provocateur last summer, ADÉLA sold out her debut solo shows in London, New York and Los Angeles, and is currently opening for Demi Lovato on the North American leg of the latter’s tour.
