33EMYBW details new EP, Amalgamate
Following her appearance at Björk's Echolalia festival, Shanghai-born producer and visual artist 33EMYBW has announced her new EP, Amalgamate, and shared new single, "Logos".
Amalgamate follows 33EMYBW's 2023 album Holes of Sinian, her single "Ghost Month" released last month, and "The Disorientation of Dagobert" made in collaboration with HIIIT and released just last month. "Logos" arrives as the EP's lead single and opener, introducing the six new "mutations", and remixes from English producer Mark Fell.
"Amalgamate is the process of mixing and transforming, where boundaries fade away and dissolve," writes 33EMYBW. "It fuses the infinite drones of ancient crust, humanity’s primordial love chants, electronic music, and unrendered notes still awaiting computational power into an ever-shifting whole. Amalgamate are hybrid monsters, pure adventure. They glow with an unprecedented golden light — a testament that the tones of Elysium are forged upon mortal earth."
