21 Savage announces his third solo album, American Dream, which will be released this Friday (12 January).
The album will soundtrack 21 Savage’s debut film American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, whose movie trailer was released yesterday. American Dream: The 21 Savage Story is directed by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori and Fam Udeorji, depicts three generations of 21 Savage (Donald Glover, Stranger Things' Caleb McLaughlin) in the heat of a personal crisis. The film is produced by Tara Razavi and Udeorji.
The project marks Savage’s first solo studio album since 2018’s i am > i was, which earned Savage his first number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart as a solo artist, a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album and a GRAMMY win for Best Rap Song (“a lot”).
American Dream will be released this Friday (12 January), and is available to pre-order now.
