Exemplifying the global nature of today’s modern popular music, this bedroom made post-dubstep track comes from the far reaches of the Middle East.
Israeli producer Orlogin has been releasing music on the Los- Julbilee label and his latest track, ‘Exit Left’ is overwhelming smokey and dark, drawing on ghostly R&B samples and cavernous production, with vocals lost and distant, as if you are hearing them echo under water.
It’s a technique Orlogin has made a firm feature of his output thus far. In The Light Of Your Presence, an EP released early this year is filled with slick, dance inspired instrumentals that somehow manage to convey moodiness, sex and romance all at once.
