Zuzu introduces her sassy, punk-infused sound with debut single “Get Off”
Liverpool’s latest injection of impressively contagious punk comes from newcomer Zuzu and her riotous debut “Get Off”.
Taking influence from the likes of Pavement, The Beatles and Bright Eyes, Zuzu incorporates grungy guitars and a killer chorus, creating a chaotic taster into Zuzu’s contagious punk-infused sound.
With beams of euphoria shining bright in the choruses, Zuzu adds a rough edge with her powerful vocals and infectious harmonies, making “Get Off” a debut worth jumping around to.
There’s no doubt “Get Off” would transfer well live. Zuzu has already impressed festival goers with appearances at Truck Festival, Tramlines and The Great Escape. Having also supported Courtney Barnett on tour, it seems Zuzu has got more exciting material to come.
“Get Off” is the debut track from Zuzu, and is out via Hand In Hive now. You can stream the impressive track below.
