Stockholm popper Vera Hotsauce gets badass on "Dad's Bugatti”
Following the release of her 2019 mixtape Blue Pill, 19-year-old Swedish artist Vera Hotsauce is back with the sweet and sickly “Dad’s Bugatti”.
Channelling the likes of Charli XCX and Kim Petras, glossy PC Music-esque pop princess Vera Hotsauce returns with another single dripping with elasticised pop that is ready to blow your mind. With shimmery, metallic production, "Dad's Bugatti" transforms into an exaggerated left-field pop banger with Vera's signature sleek and enhanced vocals.
“It's a song that gives you confidence and has very 'boss-ass-bitch’ vibes," she says of her new single, drawing a fine line between a bubblegum sound and badass bitch vibes. The track is yet another example of the Swedish newcomer's endless songwriting talents.
Working with the likes of Oscar Scheller and the Diplo-affilliated Moving Castle producer collective, it's clear that Vera is soon to be catapulted to the front of the pop scene. With her vivacious tunes following the path of some of the most exciting pop artists right now, Vera Hotsauce's trajectory of making "euphoric party song[s] about getting freaky and fun" is finally in full swing.
