We’re told the intention of Suffolk trio, The Soft’s new single, is to break hearts. After a of couple listens, you start to understand what they mean. Gently tickling the nape of your neck and burying gentle synthesized guitar chords deep in the confines of your sweater, muted dramatic drum beats dance along your collarbone, until your impenetrable heart begins to beat along with the ethereal clicks and whispers of ‘Mori’… all happening before you even have a chance to fight it.
‘Mori’ is the first single of The Soft’s EP due out in 2013 via Ceremony Recordings.
