The track opens with a little nod to Naughty by Nature’s 1992 classic “Hip Hop Hooray”, which infuses the track with a retro feel, or as R.A.E describes it “new nostalgia.”

Speaking about her new track, the South East London rapper says: “’Like This’ is about coming to the realisation that your life has evolved in a positive way. Appreciating how things have turned around for good and giving thanks to God. This song means a lot to me because I’ve taken risks in my life, especially the decision to quit working and follow my dreams.”
