A few weeks ago we posted a track from London producer Crewdson. ‘Trapdoor‘ was a playfully terrifying (or terrifyingly playful) little number that sounded like being chased through a sidescrolling video game.
Today, we are very happy to premiere a brand new track from Crewdson’s forthcoming debut album. ‘Full Force Shuffle’ is, if anything, even darker than ‘Trapdoor’. It is a stuttering, discordant track that sounds rather like all of the elements of a lounge jazz song have been gathered up and then squashed together in the wrong order – before, about three quarters of the way through, emerging fully-formed.
Crewdson’s debut album, Gravity, is out 20 June on Slowfoot. In the meantime, listen to ‘Full Force Shuffle’ below.
