Polo & Pan link with Channel Tres for club-worthy anthem “Tunnel”
On “Tunnel”, Parisian duo Polo & Pan have collaborated with Channel Tres to craft a sonic landscape that’s both tranquil and party-ready for summer days ahead.
Artfully assimilating tropical house, European nightlife, ‘80s electro flair and much in-between, “Tunnel” is an intelligent production that adds a trancelike quality to Polo & Pan’s already multifaceted and fluid catalogue.
Sunny and melodic in style, but with Channel Tres commanding the spotlight, his straight-talking vocal feels at one with the bassline hypnosis. As ambient synths creep in, Tres moves out of view as the narrator of the dancefloor to allow the elastic and funk-filled beat to come writhing into the picture.
“‘Tunnel’ is an incursion of our two romantic Frenchies into urban territory along the master of ceremony, Channel Tres,” say Polo & Pan. “This collaboration gives birth to a razor sharp sensual club track.”
