Nafets celebrates family on new track “Needles”
Wrap this man up because he is a gift.
Nafets signs out of 2017 with unspeakably good slow jam “Needles" following the release of his debut EP The Death Of Mr Ramen. The Maryland artist has been making waves this year with his unique brand of introspective, groove-based rap and unique instrumental arrangements.
“Needles” delineates perfectly the excruciating and wonderful points of family gatherings. Whether it takes you back to hearing your parents dancing in the kitchen to “grown-folks” music or a rogue uncle nearly setting the Christmas tree on fire, “Needles” celebrates all the peculiar, challenging, and beautiful parts of large-scale familial interactions. After all, blood is thicker than water.
