Acid Glasses looks set to be one of the highlights of next month’s Binnacle weekender. We’ve long been expounding the beauties of this peculiar Memphis artist – a bedroom musician who has more in common with Flaming Lips than with your average laptop producer.
Mafia Lights‘ rework of ‘Happy Accident’ takes the deserted carnival feel of the original and makes it bounce. The vocals are chopped into an entirely new hook, while the reverby piano is replaced by party percussion and a big, bulbous bass.
