We like how direct Miles From Kinshasa is. This is an artist stating where he's from in his moniker, despite his current residence in London, stepping forth with quiet confidence on his first cut.
Awash with murky synths and Miles' autocorrect-effect vocal, "IVRY" brings to mind some of the waterlogged R&B made by the perennially mysterious Jai Paul. The edges haven't been smoothed - this is a purposely unkempt cut - but an endearing one at that.
Miles has also released a self-directed video to accompany the track. Watch below and stream "IVRY" as today's Song Of The Day.
