Straight off the back of dynamite singles ‘Fluffy’ and ‘Bros’, formerly folksy foursome Wolf Alice have announced their debut EP, Blush, is to be released on 7 October via Chess Club Records.
We’re being treated to an insight into the record with new track ‘She’, a typically high-octane affair highlighting their knack with effervescent pop melodies, thrilling beats and grubby reverb-slathered riffs.
Ellie Rowsell’s snarly yet sweet vocal grows more distinctive with each passing release, and ‘She’ doesn’t buck the trend; the leading lady carving her way through a glorious malaise of sawtooth guitars and fractured snares. Breathlessly beautiful garage-rock.
Wolf Alice tour the country with Swim Deep throughout September before headlining Camden’s Dingwalls on 30 October.
