Last night, Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe premiered the new single by rising Danish artists, MØ. “Don’t Wanna Dance” is her poppiest cut to date, making any desired crossover into the mainstream all the more promising.
With bossy beats and brass, vivacious synths and MØ’s unswerving vocal, “Don’t Wanna Dance” is a future pop hit-in-waiting. Though it doesn’t have the edge of previous releases, namely the exceptional “XXX 88″ (feat. Diplo), this latest creation shows the Danish artist’s skill in controlling the quality of her output. It’s our Song of the Day.
MØ’s debut album, No Mythologies, has an expected release for 10 March. Pre-order it here.
