Listen: Kowton vs Julio Bashmore – Mirror Song
In his latest attempt to destroy both the radio airwaves and the internet by sheer weight of expectation, Julio Bashmore has announced details of an new EP in collaboration with Kowton along with a stream of its main track ‘Mirror Song’. First played on Jackmaster’s In New DJs We Trust Radio 1 show the song shuffles out of the speakers before riding on the type of aggressive beat you’d dance to uncontrollably if played as part of a DJ set for a midnight beach rave somewhere on the coast of Eastern Europe.
Along with ‘Mirror Song’ the three-track EP features a techno remix of the title track and Bristolian Kowton’s ‘And What’. Pick up the 12″ on 5 May via Broadwalk Records. Stream below.
