Here’s one who are longing for a new release from Wild Nothing. Set in the same mould as Jack Tatum’s woozy lo-fi, Dive is the solo project of Beach Fossils’ Cole Smith who is releasing a full-length next year via Wild Nothing’s (and indeed Beach Fossils) label – the ever venerable Captured Tracks.
‘Human’ is three minutes of echo-laden melodies set against a backdrop of muted drums and layered guitar parts – all of which build up to something completely understated and quite majestic in its execusion. More please.
