KAMAU shares his version of Adele's "Hometown Glory", following the success of his debut track "Jusfayu" at the end of 2015.
His interpretation of Adele's Grammy-award winning single is versatile in its entirety. At the start, it mimics the original's stoic poignancy before progressing into something that flirts with trap: all trigger-sharp beats and bouncy rapping.
With its coarse, choral "ahs" and spirited vocals at the close, the cover moves from something familiar to something unknown - its playfulness bringing the likes of Andre 3000 to mind.
