West London newcomer Hope Tala explores infatuations with the bossa nova-driven “Lovestained”
Hope Tala is a left of field singer, songwriter and academic, showcasing intricacy and her delicate conversational vocals on “Lovestained” - a follow up to debut single “Blue”.
Currently studying an English Literature Masters degree, Hope Tala releases music that outlines narratives of her love for language but also genres outside of what's expected.
A beautiful Brazilian bossa nova-influenced guitar line drives the track forward into steel drums above a more modern pushing beat as she repeats “I’ll make it better for you”.
Commenting on the single Tala says, “'Lovestained' sits in the grey area between infatuation and love, when you just want the person you’re interested in to give you a little bit more of themselves so that you can let yourself fall for them.”
