Hoost is a name we don’t know too much about outside of his production credit on Rina Sawayma’s ‘Sleeping in Waking‘ and ‘Who?’. Oh and his real name is Justin.
Pairing up a female vocal with one of The Weeknd’s most sinister lyrical conceits on the entire Trilogy series, Hoost delivers a slickly produced slamdunk of dark pop. Rising London-based vocalist Yadi continues to prove her adaptability once again, shifting the heartfelt euphoric expressionism of the ‘The Blow’ into an agonised sexual growl. Listen below:
