Listen: Gosh Pith - "Window"
Gosh Pith edge nearer to their debut EP release with new song "Window", skittering lightly above a whole host of genres but never sounding quite like any.
In fact, the whole song is riddled with oxymorons; its loungey bass calms and spurs, the vocals suckle dependently and independently, those empty beats somehow work to comfort. All the elements seem at once isolated and together.
At the start we think we might be listening to some kind of Dornik on valium, but then we realise it sounds nothing like Dornik on valium. Even the forlon guitar betrays us by springing sporadically into cheery indie.
"Window" is inventive and, all puns intended, a real breath of fresh air. We can't wat to hear more.
