Listen: GAPS – “I Know It's You”
Brighton’s GAPS continue to pile on the intrigue with another swirling folk experiment “I Know It’s You”, premièring today on Best Fit.
A more reductive track than we’re maybe used to hearing from the duo, its slow-burn tempo plays liberally with the old world tinges of Rachel Butt’s vocals, pushing them more and more into a melodic space that guides the entire three and a half minutes.
Texturally sublime in all the right places, it’s yet another piece of the GAPS puzzle that makes us excited for their 2014 debut longplayer.
The track drops digitally and limited 7″ (300 copies) via Sexbeat on 9 December and supported by some choice live dates. Pre-order it now and check out the show details below.
