Listen: Fictonian - “Full Circle Influence”
Mystery remains a particularly potent weapon for newcomers by catalysing interest and drawing added attention. The latest to adopt such a stance is a young artists operating under the name Fictonian.
Very little is known about the young singer and multi-instrumentalist but, as with any enigmatic new package, it’s the music that should do the talking. His initial effort is a languid, relentlessly heady, six and a half minute trip that spirals along with poetic eeriness, all lead by a brilliantly simple acoustic guitar riff.
”The song it changes everything” he sings in a gentle monotone, and “Full Circle Influence” certainly could change everything for the shadowy figure of Fictonian.
