[Premiere] Pandr Eyez – Leave Me Here // Song Of The Day #346
You know what, it’s tough for bloggers and music jotters sometimes. We don’t go out as much as the rest of you. I mean, somebody needs to keep the internet running right? That is sadly us, digging around late at night for music you’ll be dancing to in weeks to come. Secondly – most of us have already graduated (and are using our English degrees to write for an audience of around 20 – Google bots included), so it’s not like we can just go out and meet new people at Fresher parties anymore.
Thus rather than catching the longing glances of another across the dancefloor (while both pretending to stomach The Killers for the benefits of a tolerable evening), instead our main methods of seduction involve sending smooth and alluring alt-R&B numbers to potential lovers and hoping that they associate the sexiness of the track with us being the first to send it. It’s quite pathetic really, but unfortunately it’s the only moves we got.
Brooklyn hotties Friends‘ killer hit ‘I’m His Girl’ was definitely one of these, as is this latest offering by London duo Pandr Eyez, courtesy of the lovely people at Cascine. Yesterday we brought you a premiere for the video to their new single ‘Eyes On You’ , a 90s pop-inspired and dub-infused banger that wouldn’t be too out of place on either the radio or in the clubs. And now we bring you an exclusive stream of another new song – an album track that’s equally as fresh. Kids still use “fresh”, right? Or does it suggest I haven’t left the house since the ’90s?
Anyway – stream, listen and enjoy below:
