Echo Lake have fast become one of The Line Of Best Fit’s favourite new bands. The beautifully fuzzy London outfit have been thrashing around live Kevin Shields’ lost offspring for a few months now, pinning audiences to the back walls of various London venues with frankly unreasonable amounts of noise.
Today, the band announce the release of ‘Another Day’ – a track that has long been the standout from their live set. It is amongst Echo Lake’s most immediate songs, the fragile, Nico-esque falsetto refrain threatening never to leave your head. Indeed, the track sees Linda Jarvis’ vocals sit firmly front a centre; a welcome new turn for the band.
‘Another Day’ is out on the ever-brilliant No Pain In Pop on 18th July. In the meantime, you can stream the track below.
