biLLLy opens up about relationships with funky new track "Confused Lover"
"Confused Lover", London producer/artist biLLLy says, is about "accepting there's a problem in a relationship, which is hard and often ignored”. The opposite for him is true, where he admits to being "too honest and magnifying every doubt with heightening anxiety".
biLLLy delivers this message through an effervescent cocktail of funk guitars, hushed synths and bouncing beats that are as crisp and sharp as his tongue: "maybe I'll meet someone new / but I'm afraid they'll end up just like you / hanging out out all night / taking all the light from everybody's eyes".
Where his vocals lack a little lustre he more than makes up for them with super slick production and endearing lyrical honesty.
