Listen: Becky Hill - "Caution to the Wind"
Rudimental-collaborating vocalist Becky Hill is riding high right now with a UK number one under her belt via a guest spot on and Oliver Heldens’ “Gecko (Overdrive)” but her debut cut shows an ever greater attunement to the kind of sensory pop we love.
The Two Inch Punch-produced “Caution to the Wind” reveals the Worcestershire-born twenty-year old riding the kind of slick and high-def beats we’ve come to expect from the hands of Ben Ash.
Hill’s notable by underplaying the strength of her vocal too - it’s generous but not overblown - and the whole package promises much for her debut single proper (“Losing”, due soon, we’re told) and the inevitable debut record which adds the amazing MNEK to the mix too. Listen below.
“Caution to the Wind” is released on 22 July via Parlophone .
