A House In The Trees unveil “Summertime”, a hypnotic tribute to the warmer months
Taken from A House In The Trees’ upcoming EP What Am I Supposed To Do?, “Summertime” is a perfect introduction to their mind bending sound.
The unruly troupe led by Sam Hatchwell live a harmonious existence in The Rising Sun, a former pub In New Cross that has now turned into an artistic commune where sleep is in short supply but the creative juices are always flowing.

Newly signed to Handsome Dad Records, A House In The Trees have returned in all their resplendent glory on new bit “Summertime” which, perplexingly, is about summertime. The track is a significant movement away from their hip hop inspired back catalogue, more Wild Nothing than D’Angelo but still the sort of complex yet fragile offering one comes to expect from the band.
