Zola Blood offer up "Good Love", another preview of debut LP Infinite Games
London-based quartet Zola Blood are sharing atmospheric new track "Good Love", another preview of their upcoming first record.
The tracks follow last year's "Islands" and "Heartbeat" in previewing Infinite Games.
"Good Love" meshes frothy, soulful pop vibes with esoteric electronica - there are fine links to the warm output of Fyfe, or even Wild Beasts, but it's still unmistakeably Zola Blood. The subtle dance vibes and kinetic pop vox add an energy to the otherwise subdued electronica, with synth slinking up and down the register, in and out of earshot... it's a three-dimensional composition with depths to adore.
"'Good Love' is about finding the good times and staying there," say Zola Blood. "We wanted to write a song that was rhythmically repetitive and that keeps you in one place, so the chords and the beat are the same - it’s a song to find happy oblivion to."
